THESE ARE THE BOOKS I GOT FOR THIS WEEK:

177e7242ae274580a0ba6db24704ae12

The Heir by Kiera Cass – This is the 4th book in the Selection series. I pre-ordered it from Chapters about a month ago and it finally arrived

Miss Mayhem by Rachel Hawkins- This is the sequel to Rebel Belle which I also pre-ordered but it arrived later because Chapter makes you pay more to ship the books separately. It was cheaper to wait for the final release date.

Dream A Little Dream by Kerstin Gier- This is a new series by the author of The Ruby Red (Precious Stone) series which I had loved.

The Painted Girls by Cathy Marie Buchanan – I have to read this book for my English class. We had to choose a book from a Canadian author and so I chose this one.

The Princess Bride by William Goldman- This is a special edition. It costed me over 30 dollars, but it was worth it. One of my all time favourite movies.

All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr- this also costed me quite a bit, but it was so worth it. I’ve been dying to get my hands on it.

Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson- To be honest I literally just finished it. It’s like 450 pages, and I just read it in a day. Keep your eye out for a raving review.

Me And Earl And The Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews – Had to get this before the movie comes out.

The Orphan Queen By Jodi Meadows – I loved the Newsoul series and so I am hoping to enjoy this book just as much.

The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh- I love the cover of this book and plus it’s inspired by A Thousand and One Nights, and you know how much I love those types of books.

I also attended ComicCon on Friday where I met Billy Piper and got her autograph, which was amazing. Even though she was probably one of my least favourite companions it still was amazing to meet her.

Well, this is it for my haul. What’d you add to your shelves this week?

Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige

Dorothy Must Die (Dorothy Must Die, #1)

I got this from the library after I found out that this book was published under Fathom Five, and I do not want to support this company in any way. However I am really interested in this book.

Hexed by Michelle Krys

Hexed (The Witch Hunter, #1)

This book looks so good and I cannot wait to read it.

From Giveaways:

Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass, #3)

Heir of Fire by Sarah J Maas

Ok seriously I’ve been dying to get this book forever and it just arrived like the other day and It’s so big and glorious. However, I am afraid to read it right away as there are more books in the series to come, I don’t want to have to wait for them. What do you think, should I get straight to reading or should I wait a bit and then read it.

Books Bought:

The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May and June by Robin Benway

The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May, & June

I got this from the dollar store, the dollar store which is unbelievable. I remember I’d been searching for this book a couple of years ago, I don’t know how I’d found out about it, I just knew that I’d wanted it. And now, as I am fooling around with my friend sown the aisles of the dollar store picking out a webkinz to buy (I got the velvet elephant for 3 bucks, his name is Elmer) and there right before my eyes are books. Most of course were children’s or were french, but there just before my eyes was a book I thought I would never see again, and so I bought it. For a $1.50.

Glow by Amy Kathleen Ryan

Glow (Sky Chasers, #1)

Chapters was having a sale on their bargain books, and this was only $2, I’d seen it around before so I just decided to pick it up.

The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen

The Queen of the Tearling (The Queen of the Tearling, #1)

It was a spur of the moment decision to buy this one. I have been trying to save money up for my trip, but this book was just yelling at me to buy it. It was on sale and everything and so I bought it. Also Emma Watson is apparently going to star and produce the movie.

From Giveaways:

The Woken Gods by Gwenda Bond

The Woken Gods

I’d been waiting to receive this for a while now, somehow the company were having trouble sending out mail and so in return for having made me wait so long they gave me another book which is:

 King Maker by Maurice Broaddus

King Maker (The Knights of Breton Court)

It has no ratings on Goodreads so I don’t know if it will be good or not. Maybe when I’m in the mood for what seems to be some badass Urban Fantasy I’ll have to check it out.

Physical Books From Giveaways:

Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo

Shadow and Bone (The Grisha, #1)

Siege & Storm by Leigh Bardugo

Siege and Storm (The Grisha, #2)

Ruin & Rising by Leigh Bardugo

Ruin and Rising (The Grisha, #3)

I got all three plus a PUSH/RUSH bookmark and Broken Hearts and Other Things to Mend chap stick from IndigoTeen’s twitter giveaway

The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa

The Eternity Cure (Blood of Eden, #2)

The Forever Song by Julie Kagawa

The Forever Song (Blood of Eden, #3)

Talon by Julie Kagawa Arc

Talon (Talon, #1)

Sadly these last three books came a little battered in the mail. The only book that was without a scratch was The Forever Song. Talon has a bent front corner that ruined the cover and it is curved as well. At least it is just an arc. The Eternity Cure however is the really nice paperback edition with the special edges, but some of it is a little damaged at the edges.

Ebooks From Giveaways:

Across the Universe by Beth Revis

Across the Universe (Across the Universe, #1)

Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

Shatter Me (Shatter Me, #1)

Destroy Me by Tahereh Mafi

Destroy Me (Shatter Me, #1.5)

Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi

Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2)

I got all of these plus even more in an ebook bundle.

That is all I got for this week. I also recently got a used bookshelf for only 5 dollars which matches my other shelf perfectly (except for it’s yellow smoke stains which I don’t mind). Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1)
