Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! Visit Tynga’s Reviews to learn more about this weekly meme.

These are the books I got for this week:

Books Bought:

The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May and June by Robin Benway

The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May, & June

I got this from the dollar store, the dollar store which is unbelievable. I remember I’d been searching for this book a couple of years ago, I don’t know how I’d found out about it, I just knew that I’d wanted it. And now, as I am fooling around with my friend sown the aisles of the dollar store picking out a webkinz to buy (I got the velvet elephant for 3 bucks, his name is Elmer) and there right before my eyes are books. Most of course were children’s or were french, but there just before my eyes was a book I thought I would never see again, and so I bought it. For a $1.50.

Glow by Amy Kathleen Ryan

Glow (Sky Chasers, #1)

Chapters was having a sale on their bargain books, and this was only $2, I’d seen it around before so I just decided to pick it up.

The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen

The Queen of the Tearling (The Queen of the Tearling, #1)

It was a spur of the moment decision to buy this one. I have been trying to save money up for my trip, but this book was just yelling at me to buy it. It was on sale and everything and so I bought it. Also Emma Watson is apparently going to star and produce the movie.

From Giveaways:

The Woken Gods by Gwenda Bond

The Woken Gods

I’d been waiting to receive this for a while now, somehow the company were having trouble sending out mail and so in return for having made me wait so long they gave me another book which is:

 King Maker by Maurice Broaddus

King Maker (The Knights of Breton Court)

It has no ratings on Goodreads so I don’t know if it will be good or not. Maybe when I’m in the mood for what seems to be some badass Urban Fantasy I’ll have to check it out.

So, what did you get this week?

A lot of people seemed to have got the Queen of the Tearling this week, but that probably is because it was just released, and it has some really great reviews

I can’t decide whether to bring it on my trip or not (I don’t want to lose it) or I should just read it before I leave (which I might because I’ve been dying to read it).
