Top Ten Favorite Movies to Watch Over and Over

10. A Cinderella Story

Hillary Duff was like my idol growing up so of course I have to include one of her movies on my list. I loved to watch this movie over and over again with my older sister. It was like a childhood classic.

9. Cheaper by the Dozen

I think I may have watched these movies about 20 times or more. I can’t explain why I loved them so much, just that I did.

8. Harry Potter movies

Of course these movies have to be on this list. I have watched them all so many times that I am quite capable of knowing nearly every line.

7. The Lord of the Rings movies

It takes a lot of time to watch all of these movies (only three but it feels like twenty), yet I still manage to do so. My favourite thing to do is watch Legolas (Orlando Bloom) the entire movie, trust me if you get the chance try it, you’ll have the best time.

6. Any Marvel movie

The Avengers (2012) Poster

I loved the Avengers, it was so great. I can’t pick a true favourite. I love X-Men as well and really any superhero movie I generally will like so there’s that. I prefer Marvel or DC just because I feel their more comedic and DC is more serious. I do though love the Dark Knight (not sure how I’m feeling about Batman vs Superman).

5. Zoom

Like I said before I love superhero movies. I think this is the one I have watched the most, it’s like a classic to me.

4. The Pirates of the Caribbean Series

I want to be a pirate, and I love any movie that Keira Knightley is in. Also Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom can I say any more?

3. Both of The Princess Diaries

The books are amazing and the movies are even better. Sure they don’t follow the books but somehow I find love in both of the adaptions. I think I like the Queen of Genovia better in the movies than I did in the books (that may be because it is Julia)

2. Pride and Prejudice (2007)

Pride & Prejudice (2005) Poster

I think if I could choose me favourite book to movie adaption it would be this. This is the perfect movie to watch on a bad good or mediocre day. So really I’d watch it everyday if I could. Even though Emma is my favourite book by Jane Austen, this movie is the only Jane Austen adaption I have watched so far that I have fallen in love with. I did watch the BBC series with Collin Ferrel but it just didn’t do it for me (that may because I can only see him as the older father figures he plays now like in

1.Ella Enchanted

Ella Enchanted (2004) Poster
(imdb)

This movie, OMG this movie. And I have yet to read the book of it (is it any good). And the ending to this movie OMG I sing along every time (Mirror Mirror may have upset me when they copied this ending). Anne Hathaway I believe has one my favourite actress award I believe, tied with Keira Knightley.

The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet by Bernie Su, Kate Rorick

Publication date: June 24th 2014

Synopsis from Goodreads:

The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet

A modern adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice based on the Emmy Award-winning phenomenon, The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.

There is a great deal that goes into making a video blog. Lizzie Bennet should know, having become a YouTube sensation over the course of her year-long video diary project. The Lizzie Bennet Diaries chronicled Lizzie’s life as a twenty-four-year-old grad student, struggling under a mountain of student loans and living at home with her two sisters—beautiful Jane and reckless Lydia. What may have started as her grad student thesis grew into so much more, as the videos came to inform and reflect her life and that of her sisters. When rich, handsome Bing Lee comes to town, along with his stuck-up friend William Darcy, things really start to get interesting for the Bennets—and for Lizzie’s viewers. Suddenly Lizzie—who always considered herself a fairly normal young woman—was a public figure. But not everything happened on-screen. Luckily for us, Lizzie kept a secret diary.

The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet provides more character introspection as only a book can, with revelatory details about the Bennet household, including Lizzie’s special relationship with her father, untold stories from Netherfield, Lizzie’s thoughts and fears about life after grad school and becoming an instant web celebrity.

Written by Bernie Su, the series’ executive producer, co-creator, head writer, and director, along with Kate Rorick, the novelist, TV writer, and consulting producer on the series, the novel features a journal-entry format and design, complementing the existing web series, while including plenty of fresh twists to delight fans and new readers alike. The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet expands on the phenomenon that captivated a generation and reimagines the Pride and Prejudice story like it’s never been done before.

Why am I excited?

Well first off, I am a huge fan of the web-series found here. I discovered it at around this time last year or was it before that? Well, I watched it at least a year ago. Now, the book written by the same people from the show is coming out and I cannot wait. Emma Approved (their new web series based on Jane Austen’s Emma) has just come back from hiatus and it has made me more excited for this release. Normally I plan to just get the physical copy of the book, but I heard the same actor who played Lizzie from the series is going to voice the audio book, and I have to have that. I just cannot wait for the release of this book.

Are you a fan of the Lizzie Bennet Diaries as well, are you just as excited as I am? Are you watching Emma Approved, and if so tell me what you think of it, I am dying to talk to somebody about it. Also, what’s your Waiting on Wednesday?
